To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our department High Performance Vehicle Test & Development a

(Senior) Engineer Total Vehicle Management for N Brand (m/f) 

Work Scope:

  • Planning and coordination of development vehicles (buildup, upgrading, modifying) in close cooperation with development and workshop
  • Prepare and support test sessions for suspension, powertrain and driving dynamics systems
  • Prepare and conduct joint evaluation rides
  • Support of overall vehicle performance evaluation following the internal test and development procedures
  • Definition of measures together with the relevant departments in case of target deviation
  • Preparation and management of press cars
  • Reporting and documentation of vehicle status and planning as well as test results in English language
  • Collaboration with our R&D Centre in Namyang (Korea) and suppliers, Engineering Companies and Universities

Requirements:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics or similar
  • Several years of experience at a car maker or engineering company in automobile development
  • Knowledge, interest and passion concerning vehicle technology
  • Experience in handling development cars (planning and coordination of necessary workshop and test activities)
  • Experience with measurement equipment desirable
  • Good vehicle evaluation skills (e.g. NVH), experience on driving and evaluating on the limit are desirable.
  • Interest in latest technology and development tools
  • Pro-active and self-motivated attitude
  • Good teamplayer with quick perception of newly developed functions
  • Good command of English language
  • Good computer and presentation skills (MS Office, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Willingness to work in an international environment
  • Cross cultural competencies
