To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our department Vehicle Test & Development a

Engineer m/f/d

HVAC & Powertrain Cooling Systems


  • Test & development of the overall HVAC and cooling system for vehicles with combustion- (ICE) and electronic powertrains (HEV, PHEV & Fuel Cell)
  • Strategy development and tuning of the HVAC control unit (Full Automatic Temperature Control)
  • Development of attribute related test procedures, targets and specifications for the EU-market
  • Data- acquisition, -analysis, -interpretation; reporting and documentation of test results in English
  • Organization and realization of European field trips
  • Collaboration with our R&D Centre in Namyang (South Korea), suppliers, engineering companies and universities


  • Degree in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering ideally with focus on thermodynamics
  • Several years of experience at a car maker or supplier with test and development of HVAC & Cooling systems
  • Experience in tuning of full automatic HVAC control units
  • Funded knowledge of data systems (IPETRONIK), test data handling and analysis (Excel) as well as in reporting, documentation and presentation of test results
  • Safe driver and experience in trailer towing
  • Driving licenses B and BE required
  • Pro-active and self-motivated attitude
  • Good command of English language
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work in an international organization
